Our hearts beat fast! The beautiful VW Type 2 (or "Bread Loaf") with its characteristic flat front enjoys the highest cult status and still puts many elegant classic sports cars in the shade. The first VW Type 2 T1 was launched in Wolfsburg in 1950, and today collectors and enthusiasts pay record sums in the six-figure range for the original mid-size Type 2. Today, the "Bread Loaf" is celebrated by die-hard fans and admirers worldwide and is particularly popular as a custom model, with ever-new and individualized design variants. Like now, as a dynamic, deep black old-school interpretation, with elaborately printed flames as a tribute to legendary custom body art. The Siku T1 Type 2 Custom is surprisingly hard to fool, because much of this car model is made of metal – plastic is only used sporadically and specifically, for example, in the car's interior and roof. The van's chassis has been lowered for an extra sporty driving experience, and the look is even cooler thanks to the striking rims with wide tires. The double passenger-side doors can be opened to reveal a view of the vehicle's interior. But let's talk explicitly about the special paint job again: The lower part of the cult transporter is matte black, from the middle upwards the bus is painted glossy black – how cool is that? The black rims are also appropriate and extremely beastly for the old-school look, which is completed by the blazing flames that extend along both sides of the bus in red-orange-yellow.
