Codename: Duets is a cooperative game for two or more players, where intrigue, espionage, and secret keys intertwine. Step into the shoes of a spy and race against the clock to discover the secret code with your teammates! This game is based on its sibling, Codename: Duets, but in a cooperative format. Codename: Duets was released in 2017, designed by the prestigious Vlaada Chvátil (Galaxy Trucker, Through the Ages, or Mage Knight). It allows games from 2 to 99 players, with games lasting less than 30 minutes. But how is Codename: Duets different from the original game? It's mainly because the talented Vlaada Chvátil managed to adapt the mechanics of the famous Codename: Duets to make it a cooperative game. Although the essence remains the same, the game takes on a new dimension thanks to the tension that is generated. And thanks to the timer, the game becomes frantic. There are only 9 turns left to guess the agents, and the last turns are a real ticking time bomb waiting to explode!

The game offers games for 2 to 99 players. In two-player mode, the difficulty level is quite high, as it requires great synchronization with the other player: you will have to understand how they think and play together to unravel the mystery hidden behind the Secret Code. The Secret Code Duets includes a spectacular campaign mode, with certain variable time conditions and successes that change depending on each game.

As we have already said, Duets maintains the same dynamic where we must guess words by linking concepts, while avoiding others. One player knows the location of 9 of the 15 agents, and the other player will know another 9 (although several may coincide). There will always be three assassins on the table: that is, forbidden words that, if the other player chooses them, the game is immediately lost. Be careful with the clues you give! But the assassins aren't the same for all players: the one who's an agent for you might be an assassin for your partner. Add confusion and chaos to your games! Secret Code Duets is a great game that adds cooperative mode to the great secret word mechanics of the original. Lots of fun and excitement in every game, and it's ideal for playing as a couple!
