To begin, the base is assembled by an adult: it represents the trunk of a tree, where a spring-loaded bird snuggles tenderly. Then, the little ones use the included template card to insert the tree leaves — there are 14 different colors and sizes.
Once the beautiful tree is assembled, the most anticipated moment arrives: the slide! Two wooden balls are included with the toy — let them roll down the leaves and watch the cascade of soft, repetitive sounds. One at a time or both simultaneously, it's so satisfying to see them slide to the bottom! At the end of the slide, the balls fit into the groove at the base of the stand.
