PYTHAGORAS Coffee

In 1713, King John V commissioned Sergeant-Major Francisco Melo de Palheta to travel to French Guiana to secretly bring back the best coffee seeds to be planted in Brazil. By 1800, Brazil was already one of the world's largest coffee producers.
