By using Trodat replacement ink pads, you can be sure that your stamp will consistently provide uniform and clean impressions. Both the ink pad material and the ink have been perfected over many years of research. Therefore, a Trodat impression works just as well in the polar cold as in a tropical rainforest.
The black ink color meets important specifications regarding aging resistance, according to the DIN ISO 11798 archivability standard, such as color intensity (optical density) and typeface appearance, lightfastness, water resistance, abrasion resistance, heat resistance, and impact resistance of lettering on the paper's resistance.

REMOVING STAMP INK: For the removal of standard Trodat water-based stamp inks, depending on the characteristics of the affected surface, the following is recommended: Smooth, non-absorbent surfaces: clean with water, possibly with soap or a mild solvent-free cleaning product. Absorbent materials such as textiles: soak and rub or brush with soap and water and repeat the process with a polar solvent, e.g., alcohol.
