tesa® 4952 is a double-sided foam tape frequently used for a wide range of different construction mounting applications. The double-sided tape has good initial adhesion and excellent adhesion to smooth surfaces. The foam tape is resistant to UV light, humidity, water, chemicals and wear. The tape is ideal for indoor and outdoor use, with long-term temperature resistance up to 80 °C. tesa® 4952 consists of a high-quality closed-cell white PE foam backing, a slip-resistant modified acrylic adhesive mass and a glassine coating. tesa® 4952 is particularly suitable for fixing flat objects such as mirrors, signs and decorative materials. Furthermore, the foam tape acts as a good shock absorber, making it ideal for various fastening functions and for leveling different thermal expansions of materials. tesa® 4952 has been externally certified for mounting mirrors on furniture.
