The Lyra Aqua Brush Duo Light Chromium Yellow watercolor brush pen, reference L6520006, is a double-tipped marker with watercolor ink. Lyra is a German brand of writing and drawing materials founded in 1806 in Nuremberg, one of the oldest and most respected colored pencil manufacturers in the world, currently part of the Italian F.I.L.A. group. The Aqua Brush Duo is a double-tipped marker: a fine 1mm tip for precise lines and details, and a flexible brush tip for broad strokes and watercolor effects. The water-based ink is soluble, allowing colors to be mixed together or diluted with water and a brush to obtain effects similar to traditional watercolor. This light chromium yellow differs from light cadmium yellow by having a slightly cooler tone, being one of the six yellows available in the range.
