It is not divisible, and a single strand is visually equivalent in thickness to two strands of a DMC cotton mouliné skein, making it easy to calculate quantities when replacing or supplementing other threads in the same design. It comes in a 35-meter skein and can be used on cotton, linen, satin, or silk, being widely used for snow, star, ice, water motifs, and Christmas or winter details.
